About the Museum Exhibition History Founders and Friends Get Involved Education Gift Shop

Another 'dream' has been realized for the museum. As you may remember, when my beloved Marilyn passed away, I had anticipated that a second sculpture created by Albert Paley, would be placed on the museum grounds. It did not happen then, but with the assistance and generosity of Alan H. Ginsburg, I am happy to announce that "Interlace", created in 2005 (shown below right), has been installed in a prime viewing location in front of the museum.

Funds collected for the Marilyn Logsdon Mennello Endowment Fund were used for the purchase of the piece. Her many friends made contributions to fund which was established to honor her memory.

Now this monumental sculpture will welcome museum visitors as they come down the driveway. Marilyn would be so pleased - she had seen the piece at the gallery and had commented on it's beauty and had agreed with me that it would be wonderful somewhere on the museum grounds.

InterlaceI would like to take this opportunity to again say 'Thank You' for your many contributions that have this purchase possible.

I would like to invite you to come by the museum and take a moment to view the work and think of Marilyn's spirit and generosity of time and energy that have helped to make the Mennello Museum of American such a wonderful place to visit.

Fondly,
Michael A. Mennello

In addition to all of the beautiful works donated to the Museum, Mr. Mennello holds his personal collection dear to his heart.
