Join us for the second annual festival dedicated to Music + Art + Picnic + Love in the lakeside Sculpture Garden of The Mennello Museum of American Art in Loch Haven Cultural Park.
Our Valentine’s Day-themed family picnic features local music, original art vendors plus foodie-friendly goodies and craft beverages for sale. Bring your picnic blankets, make valentine cards, and enjoy an afternoon of music in the winter sunshine.
Last year’s debut Indie-Folkfest at the Mennello Museum put a twist on our traditional Orlando Folk Festival turning it into a Valentine’s Day-themed family folk picnic that features local music, art and food. We partnered with East End Market for food as well as local bars to throw a fun-filled picnic in the beautiful Sculpture Garden of The Mennello Museum of American Art. Thousands of guests – including plenty of dogs and kids – spread out picnic blankets, made valentine cards and enjoyed listening to local music played against the backdrop of Lake Formosa in the winter sunshine.
We can't wait to do it again!
The second annual Indie-Folkfest at the Mennello Museum is presented by the volunteer members of The Mennello Museum of American Art Board of Trustees.
This project is supported in part by the City of Orlando, Friends of the Mennello Museum of American Art and United Arts of Central Florida, host of power2give.org/ centralflorida and the collaborative Campaign for the Arts.
