At The Mennello Museum of American Art, we have greeters. Two, to be exact. Red (pictured above) and Fuzz (below) are part of the museum's "permanent collection."
Red came to the museum several weeks before the 2005 hurricane season. Since then, he has remained with us for good and turned into a welcome presence. Many people comment on how warm and more personal having him here makes the museum.
Next to the family came Fuzz. At first sight, he looked like a small mouse, however, Red found him and became a surrogate father. Fuzz loves his independance, but like any good son, still manages to find his way back home.
We cherish the family atmosphere here at The Mennello Museum and have created a place where all are welcome and where the food dish is never empty. |
